The Official Tacoma Kotei TEAM DRAFT CHALLENGE! (Re-posted from Leon)
1) At the Tacoma Kotei, we'll be holding a Team Draft Challenge.
2) Any interested players should register for the Team Draft Challenge by noon of Saturday 26th March, PST.
Any players that register for the Team Draft Challenge between the above time/date and the start of the kotei will be assigned to a team at random (with priority going to any team with less players).
3) Any player registering for the Challenge *must* donate some kind of prize to the Team Draft Challenge LOOT PILE (and should therefore bring it to the kotei).
4) The team captains will be: Andrew Ornatov (Earth), Case Kiyonaga (Fire), Pat Naayer (Water), Randy (Air), and Greg Wong (Void)
5) On the weekend before the kotei (Saturday or Sunday) the captains will draft from those registered.
6) At the end of the swiss rounds of the kotei, each player will get a score equal to their position (after swiss).
7) Each team will get a score equal to the top four placing players of different factions. Should a team not have four factions, any unfilled spots will be assigned a score equal to the number of players in the kotei.(So Ornatov doesn't just draft entirely one clan to win by technicality. )
8) The Team with the Lowest total score wins. The winning team splits the LOOT PILE from the challenge in any way they see fit.
9) To register for this event, please post in this thread your first and last name (nickname too if desired), your faction (if known), and your prize that you are donating (or TBD if not sure).
These rules may be modified to fill in rules gaps, but otherwise, there ya go!
